There are various reports out there that the Baltimore Ravens are releasing Danny Woodhead. He would be a really interesting guy for the Titans to pursue. He is a veteran back who is excellent in the passing game. Woodhead can catch the ball out of the backfield and would be an asset in pass protection. Jon Robinson could also get him for relatively cheap on a short-term deal.
The Titans should sign Woodhead and still draft a running back. Woodhead could bridge the gap for the rookie, especially when it comes to pass protection.
