The Tennessee Titans entered training camp with major questions marks at linebacker. General manager Mike Borgonzi completely rehauled the position this offseason. Journeyman veteran Cody Barton was signed in free agency, and then a pair of sophomores were hand-chosen to compete for the opposite starting gig.
James Williams has received the majority of first-team reps on defense next to Barton. Cedric Gray could be making a late push after running with the starters at practice for the first time last week. The coaching staff has been pleased with both Williams and Gray, who have flashed offseason development as second-year defenders.
