How the Titans made a midseason Brian Callahan firing actually make sense

The Tennessee Titans officially fired head coach Brian Callahan on Monday. General manager Mike Borgonzi needed to have a plan in place to adjust the staff to account for the staffers who were dismissed alongside him. Mike McCoy was named interim coach in Callahan's place.

Offensive line coach Bill Callahan, Brian's father, also left the team, per Paul Kuharsky. Surprisingly. offensive coordinator Nick Holz was retained despite his close ties to the Callahan's. Keeping Holz limited the amount of shuffling that was required.

Having analyzed the Titans' current staff, this is how the Titans made an in-season Callahan firing work amidst the shuffling that was required.
