The Tennessee Titans admitted defeat on former 2022 NFL Draft bust Treylon Burks earlier this season. The oft-injured Burks was waived with an injury designation back in July after suffering a fractured collarbone during a training camp practice, but he ultimately reverted to the team's Injured Reserve list after going unclaimed on waivers. The Titans then released him from IR in early October, making him a free agent.
Roughly one week after officially being cut by the Titans, Burks signed with the Washington Commanders' practice squad. The Commanders have dealt with a number of injuries on offense, including notable setbacks for quarterback Jayden Daniels and wide receiver Terry McLaurin.
