The Tennessee Titans made a catastrophic mistake when they traded superstar wide receiver AJ Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles in 2022 amidst a contract dispute. The Titans were coming off six consecutive winning seasons when then-general manager Jon Robinson made that ill-advised decision. They haven't had a winning season post-Brown trade, going 16-35 in three campaigns since.
Robinson was fired roughly six months after trading Brown to Philadelphia for first-and-third-round picks. To make matters worse, the Titans selected Treylon Burks to replace Brown. One of the team's bigger first-round busts in recent memory, Burks was waived earlier this offseason, and ironically enough, recently leaned on Brown for advice.
