Reading the coverage of the Tennessee Titans…
Are the Titans really better than they were last year? Jason Wolf of The Tennessean extracts a lot of numbers that say it’s not actually the case. It starts with 1-5 vs. 2-4 through six games. “They’re committing more turnovers. And more penalties. And allowing more sacks. And big plays. And dropping more passes.”
To which I say: Good stuff here. The eye test vs. the numbers. Still, six games in, I’m more interested in if the Titans are better now than they were at the beginning of the season than compared to last year.
