The Tennessee Titans struggled to rush the passer throughout 2024. Dennard Wilson's unit recorded the third-fewest sacks (32.0) in the league. General manager Mike Borgonzi took over a roster that desperately needed upgrades in that department.
The Titans' offseason activities didn't signal a sense of urgency, however. Despite possessing ample cap space and financial flexibility, they released 2024 sack leader Harold Landry from his contract. Landry is currently thriving with the New England Patriots.
Borgonzi didn't treat the EDGE position with the care it so obviously required. Dre'Mont Jones was signed to a modest one-year contract following his release from the Seattle Seahawks.
