Derrick Henry was on this week’s Bussin with the Boys podcast. It was a really good trip down memory lane for fans of the Tennessee Titans. They recounted the run to the AFC Championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs, the 2,000-yard season, and what could have been for The King’s career had he not broken his foot in 2020. Henry predicted he would have gotten close to 2,200 yards.
He also talked about the rumor that he was almost traded at the NFL trade deadline this past season. It does sound like a deal was pretty close, but Henry declined to give to many specifics on what all went down that week.
