The Tennessee Titans were one good half of football away from going to the Super Bowl in 2019.
While it is easy to put other teams ahead of them on paper now (though not many other teams), the fact is that a group of young players with little name value ran the ball down the throats of league darlings like the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens.
When they weren’t doing that, Ryan Tannehill was showing off his ability and gashing defenses with his legs and arm.
However, that all gets lost in history to most people because now they can put big market teams ahead of the Titans in their minds and move on.
