As far as I know the Tennessee Titans still haven’t officially announced their class of undrafted free agents yet.
Even if they had, the Titans have something like 15 spots to fill on their roster and unless they are planning on signing another handful of free agents, then why not turn to the cheaper option with more upside.
UDFA isn’t always exciting, but without it, the Tennessee Titans wouldn’t have guys like Malcolm Butler, Adam Humphries, Nate Dzubnar, Khari Blasingame, Kalif Ramond, and Anthony Firkser.
The fact is that the sheer volume of players that come out of Day 3 and UDFA help keep NFL teams going throughout seasons where injuries are inevitable and where you have to have someone fill in in a pinch.
