STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The Temple women's track and field team competed in their third meet of the season on Saturday at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, N.Y.
Marissa White placed third in the 400-meter dash behind Villanova's McKenna Keegan and Skyy Diop while posting a time of 56.28. The time is a personal best for White.
In the 200-meter dash, Chelby Elam placed eighth with a time of 25.49.
In the 4x400-meter relay, the Owls' "A" team featuring Elam, Mary Olayinka Ilelaboye, Dominyka Petraskaite, and White raced to a third-place finish behind Cornell and Villanova with a time of 3:53.
