PHILADELPHIA – Despite facing shortened seasons in both 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, head coach Steve Mauro and the Temple women's tennis squad are ready for their 2022 campaign. The Owls are set to open play on the road at city rival, Penn on Jan. 19 at 10 a.m.
The Cherry and White finished the 2021 season with a 9-2 overall record before facing five year-end cancellations, including the cancellation of the AAC tournament. The Owls posted a perfect 5-0 record at home which included two 7-0 sweeps over Binghamton and LaSalle.
