LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J.—Temple women's soccer (1-3-3, 0-0 AAC) battled Rider (3-2-2, 0-0 MAAC) to a 1-1 draw in Sunday afternoon's 110-minute contest. Sophomore got on the scoresheet for the Owls, as she knocked the ball into the net off an cross in the 50th minute of play.
How it Happened
> The Owls strung together strong scoring opportunities in the beginning of the first half. In the 11th minute, sophomore sent two shots on goal, forcing Rider's Carmen Carbonell to step up and make the saves. In the 14th minute, Gutowski ripped a shot from the 18, but Carbonell was there to save the attempt.
