PHILADELPHIA — The Temple women's rowing team opened the fall racing season with a solid competition at the 2021 Navy Day Regatta. The Owls competed in their first Head race since 2019. The Owls competed in two different events with a total of five boats racing down the Schuylkill River.

>"It was so awesome to be back out on the racecourse and we are so grateful for the opportunity to be together racing hard, learning and getting better," head coach Rebecca Grzybowski said. "With regard to our performance today, we saw strong technical execution across all boats which is good, but we stayed a little inside the box and safe when it came to race day urgency.
