PHILADELPHIA- The Temple women's cross country team finished fourth overall at the 26th annual Iona Meet of Champions at Van Cortlandt Park Friday morning in the Bronx, N.Y. Senior Michelle Joyce led the Owls with a third-place finish in the 5k with a time of 18:23.9 minutes.

- "The ladies really stepped up today. It was great seeing Mia Dubac and Cat Shontz work together throughout the race. Michelle demonstrated that she is ready to go out hard and mix it up with anybody, which is something we are trying to practice as we move into these bigger races," said Coach Cavender Salvadori.
