PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple women's basketball team has signed a pair of recruits for the 2016-17 season. Next year's Owls will include Shannen Atkinson and Shantay Taylor, who signed national letters of intent to play for the Owls.
"We are very excited to welcome Shannen and Shantay to our basketball family," said Head Coach Tonya Cardoza. "Shannen is very athletic and will be a tremendous presence for us both offensively and defensively. Her ability to rebound and run the floor will be very beneficial to our style of play. Shantay will also bring depth at the post position.
