PHILADELPHIA - Vinnie James, who joined the Temple Athletics staff as Athletics Business Manager in July, 2014, has now been promoted to Assistant Athletics Director for Business Operations.
In his role, James is tasked with the daily management and oversight as well as weekly reporting of all operating budgets for the departments' 19 sport programs and administrative areas. In addition, James assists with the budget planning process, processes departmental contracts, serves as the athletics liaison to Risk Management and facilitates special projects throughout the year.
James came to Temple from La Salle University where he spent two years as Athletics Business Manager for the Explorers.
