Annapolis, Md. – On Thursday Temple women's track and field competed at the women-only U.S. Navy Mid-Week, hosted at the Wesley Brown Field House. The Owls held strong to post six first-place finishes over nine events.
"With today's meet being an all-women's competition, it was short which allowed the team to focus on what they wanted to do," said head coach Elvis Forde.
The meet opened up with the distance medley relay featuring Millie Howard, Grace Moore, Katie Leisher, Katie Pinson, Kenya Gaston, Jazmyne Williams, Ashton Dunkley, and Madison Beecher.
