PHILADELPHIA – This weekend, Temple track and field will split up to compete at both the Virginia Challenge and the Widener Invitational. Hosted at the University of Virginia, the Virginia Challenge will take place both Friday, April 20 and Saturday, April 21. The Widener Invitational will take place at Widener's Leslie C. Quick Stadium where the Owls will compete on Saturday.

> Freshman Lucy Jones broke the program's steeplechase record on March 31 at the Ole Miss Classic with a time of 10:40.43. Her time is the second fastest in the American Athletic Conference.
