BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Temple women's track and field program struggled in Alabama at the American Athletic Conference Indoor Championships. The team finished in eleventh place with 22 days at the end of the two-day meet. UCF took home the championship with 156.5 total points.

After qualifying for the 400m final with a time of 54.96, Marissa White found another gear as she sprinted to a personal-best time in the 400m final with a time of 54.04.
Distance runner Helene Gottlieb qualified for the one mile run final after posting a time of 4:57.
