PHILADELPHIA - The track and field team sets their sights on Charlottesville, Va. this weekend as the team competes in the Virginia Challenge on April 22-23 one week before the Penn Relays.
About the Virginia Challenge
After an Chelby Elam leads the way for the Owls in the 100m dash preliminary round which kicks off the meet for the Cherry & White at 2:25pm on Friday. In the 400m dash, Mary Olayinka Ilelaboye and Marissa White join the competition.
Throughout the day on Friday, freshman Amira Green and Nicole Castor will compete in the high jump while Tannekee Strachan competes in the long jump and triple jump events.
