PHILADELPHIA - The Temple women's track and field team travels to Birmingham, Ala. this week for the American Athletic Conference Indoor Championships on Friday and Saturday. Both meet days are scheduled to air on ESPN+.
Last year, the AAC did not hold indoor championships so the Owls will look to build off of their third-place finish at the 2020 championships, Temple's best-ever finish at the event.
About the AAC Indoor Championships:
Helene Gottlieb looks to continue her form when competing in conference championships in the distance medley relay.
Michelle Joyce will look to put together strong performances in the 3000-meter and 5000-meter events, while Laura Nicholson will also attempt to compete for a spot on the podium in the 3000-meter event as well.
