PRINCETON, N.J. - The Temple track and field team earned a few personal-bests over the two-day meet as the team competed at the Larry Ellis Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
Meet Highlights (Larry Ellis Invitational):
A few Owls contended in their respective events on Friday afternoon, but it was long jumper Tannekee Strachan who took the headlines as she jumped to a mark of 5.79m to take second place.
In the 1,500m run, junior Laura Nicholson ran to a personal-best 4:23.05, taking eighth place. A few races later, Cat Shontz and Emily Sschuler competed in the 5,000m run.
