PHILADELPHIA – Temple track and field returns to Philadelphia with four first-place finishes, three top-three finishes, and several personal bests after sending Owls to both the Virginia Classic and the Widener Invitational. Freshman Sydney Williams earned two individual titles on Saturday while freshmen Mallorie Smith and Kayla Nesbitt McEwen each secured one in their respective events.
Widener Invitational Highlights
> Freshman Mallorie Smith ran a time of 25.52 to snag the 200-meter title. Smith returned to the track for the 400-meter dash, placing second overall with a time of 56.
