PHILADELPHIA - It was domination on both ends of the field for Temple lacrosse (8-2) in the Owls' final non-conference game of the season, as they cruised to an 18-3 win over Cal (3-5) at Geasey Field on Saturday afternoon. Three Owls recorded hat tricks, while seven others also scored for Temple.
The Owls out-shot Cal 35-13, and Temple senior goalkeeper Jaqi Kakalecik made saves on nine of the Golden Bears' shots to hold them to just three goals in the game. The 15-goal differential for the Owls was their biggest in a season that has seen them win five other games by 10 or more goals.
