PHILADELPHIA – On Monday, Temple student-athletes joined those across all three NCAA divisions for the It's On Us Student-Athlete Day of Action. In efforts to encourage fellow student-athletes, coaches, administrators, and the greater Temple community to take the It's On Us Pledge, the Student Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) collected over 113 names during its day-long pledge drive.
In the midst of Sexual Assault Awareness month, SAAC held its pledge drive in front of the Nancy and Donald Resnick Academic Support Center for Student-Athletes. SAAC representatives from each varsity sport encouraged those that stopped by the table to take the online It's On Us Pledge and bring home an It's On Us pledge sticker as well as a teal ribbon, the designated symbol for support of sexual assault awareness.
