PHILADELPHIA – The Temple men's crew team is set to open the 2021 spring campaign this Saturday at the 38 Memorial Murphy Cup Regatta. The Owls have not been in competition since October 27, 2019 as the previous spring season was canceled due to COVID-19.
The last time out at the Murphy Cup, the Owls made it to the grand finals in all four events entered, and the freshman eight boat earned the Owls a silver medal with a time of 6:44.34.
This year, the Owls welcome in-city schools Drexel, La Salle, and Penn. Head coach says that the Owls will be ready for the challenge.
