Temple University mourns the loss of Dr. Athole Jacobi, a longtime fan, benefactor and friend of Temple Athletics and Temple University. She passed away on March 25 at the age of 91.
"Temple University is extremely saddened by the loss of Dr. Athole Jacobi," said Vice President and Director of Athletics Arthur Johnson. "In my short time at Temple, I quickly learned that Dr. Jacobi was a wonderful person who truly cared about people, especially our student-athletes. She touched many lives through her kindness and generosity. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time.
