SAINT LOUIS, Mo. - Three Temple fencers placed in the top 16 of their respective events at the January North American Cup (NAC), held at the America's Center Convention Complex in Saint Louis from Jan. 8-11. Sophomore Becca Stanford led the way with an impressive two top-10 finishes in two different events.
Stanford placed 10th in Division I Women's Foil out of 152 competitors on Saturday, and followed it up with an eighth-place finish in Junior Women's Foil on Monday. Teammate and senior Fatima Largaespada was also a finalist in Division I Women's Foil, placing 16th.
