PHILADELPHIA – Six new members will be added to the Temple University Basketball Ring of Honor during the 2017-18 season announced Director of Athletics Dr. Patrick Kraft.
National champion coach James Usilton, Sr., 1940s great Angelo Musi, 10-year NBA veteran Ollie Johnson and All-American guard Nate Blackwell will be the men's basketball honorees while 1920s standout Dora Lurie and stellar point guard Donna Kennedy are the women's basketball representatives.
"Six decades are represented by the second class of the Temple Basketball Ring of Honor," said Kraft. "Both programs have a rich tradition of excellence and this is a special way to put a spotlight on our history of basketball success.
