PHILADELPHIA - On Thursday, April 26, the Temple Owl Club participated in Temple Toast, a one day University-wide giving campaign during Temple's Global Days of Service. During the 24-hour campaign, 208 Temple alumni, fans and friends rallied around athletics to contribute over $74,000 in gifts toward student-athlete resources.
The generosity of an anonymous donor's $50,000 challenge boosted efforts, for an overall impact of over $124,000 toward Temple's 19 athletics programs.
"I want to thank our generous donors for stepping up on Temple Toast to support our student-athletes," said Senior Associate AD/Assistant VP for Development Jeremy Wang.
