PHILADELPHIA -- A total of 78 Owl student-athletes from this academic year are now confirmed graduates, including 62 who participated in the 130th annual Commencement on Thursday. In all, more than 9,000 students graduated with the Temple University Class of 2017.
The 78 Owl student-athletes represent 18 of Temple's intercollegiate sports. Football has the most graduates with 16, followed by six each from women's lacrosse and women's track and field.
"?I am so proud of our student-athletes for this tremendous accomplishment," said Temple University Director of Athletics Dr. Patrick Kraft.
