CHARLOTTE, N.C. - In a successful weekend at the January North American Cup, the Temple sabre squad took home gold in the team competition. The Owls saw two other top-8 finishes over the four-day event.
The first day saw three foilists compete, with Aryana Abtin taking 84th, Megan Ross tying for 106th, and Cassie Navalta finishing in 160th out of 172 participants.
The second day saw an individual event and a team event. Freshman Sarah Park tied for 45th, senior captain Quinn Duwelius took 67th, Naomi Ross finished in 123rd, and Marielle Luke placed 164th against 199 epeeists.
