PHILADELPHIA -- Temple rowing will again be represented on the international stage, as the Owls' Elaine Tierney has been named to the USRowing Under 23 National Lightweight Team.
"I'm really excited to row with people who are more experienced and who have gone to world championships and can push me a lot further," said Tierney.
Tierney will head to Boston this summer, to take part in camp in order to select the boatings for the 2019 World Rowing Under 23 Championships. Last year, the lightweight women's quad finished sixth at the 2018 World Rowing Under 23 Championships.
