PHILADELPHIA - PhillySIDA annoucned today that Kenneth Raynor, a rower on the Temple men's crew team was named to the 2022 Academic All-Area team for his contributions athletically and academically.
In order to be eligible for Academic All-Area honors, an athlete must be in at least his or her second year at the institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or better.
Raynor, a mechanical engineering major, excelled in the classroom while rowing in the bow seat for the Varsity Eight boat. At the IRA National Championships earlier this month, Raynor led the crew to a fifth-place finish in the third final for a top-20 national ranking (17th).
