If a random fan not following college football was told that one of the two quarterbacks in Saturday’s Memphis at Temple game was being scouted by the pros, they could have only assumed one thing after three hours of play: Paxton Lynch was also in the house.
In reality, Lynch of Memphis was the guy all of the NFL scouts came to see, but he was clearly outplayed by Temple’s P.J. Walker, who just might have punched Temple’s ticket to a New Year’s Six bowl game, or at least the AAC title game.
