After a game-tying goal by St. Joseph’s with less than six minutes left in regulation, the Owls did not panic.
With two minutes left in regulation, sophomore forward Hattie Kuhns passed the ball from the left corner to junior midfielder Paige Gross, who scooped the ball over the goaltender’s outstretched hands and into the net for the game-winning goal as the Owls beat the Hawks 3–2.
“The goal that Paige had is how we want all of our goals to go,” senior forward/midfielder Alyssa Delp said. “We work on it in all the passing lines we have.
