PHILADELPHIA - Senior linebacker Tyler Matakevich won the Bronko Nagurski Award from the Charlotte Touchdown Club this Monday and fans can re-live the moment later this week. CBS Sports Network, with Adam Zucker hosting, will air the trophy presentation this Friday, December 11th, at 9:00 p.m.
Matakevich will be on ESPN Thursday night at the Home Depot College Football Awards, where he's a finalist for the Bednarik Award. The Lott IMPACT Trophy, for which Matakevich is also a finalist, airs Saturday night from Los Angeles on Fox Sports 1.
Matakevich finished the regular season with 126 tackles, 15 for loss, with a career-high 4.
