PHILADELPHIA - Allstate and the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) announced today nominees for the 2021 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team®. Temple quarterback Re-al Mitchell was among the select group of student-athletes nominated for the team.
Throughout last season, Mitchell used his time off the field wisely, participating in a variety of community service events totaling over three dozen hours. Mitchell used this time to develop a relationship with Jaidyn from TEAM IMPACT, as well as participate in physical education classes with elementary school children with the Camden Promise Academy. Among many other community service events, Mitchell worked in conjunction with the Temple Police to service a block around campus as part of a cleanup effort.
