MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Temple men's tennis season came to an end on Friday afternoon after the seventh-seeded Owls fell to #2 Tulsa, 4-0.
The Golden Hurricane was able to pick up an early 1-0 lead by clinching the doubles point. Dylan McCloskey and Dominic Bechard defeated Santiago Canete and Artem Kapshuk, 6-2 at the second flight, while Matthew Kirby and Okkie Kellerman took down Hicham Belkssir and Vineet Naran at the first flight by the same score.
Tulsa would continue to lead into singles, as #46 Or Ram-Harel defeated Canete, 6-1, 6-1 at the first flight, while Florian Mayer fell to Kellerman, 6-0, 6-4 at the fifth flight.
