Men's Soccer Tops Yale 2-0 for a Third Consecutive Win

Ambler, Pa. – Temple men's soccer recorded its third consecutive win with a 2-0 victory over the Yale Bulldogs at the Ambler Sports Complex on Sunday afternoon. This win moves the Owls to an unbeaten 4-0-1 record on the season.

Jorge Gomez Sanchez knocked in both goals for the Owls to boost his season goal total to six. The first goal came in the 30th minute as Gomez Sanchez knocked the ball over and behind the Bulldogs' goalkeeper off a clean cross from junior captain Matt Mahoney. Gomez Sanchez hit the second goal in the 42nd minute after a pass to the top of the box from freshman Jordan Wix-Rauch.
