PHILADELPHIA — The Temple men's crew team opened the 2019 Dad Vail Regatta with a fantastic performance, sending every boat through to the grand finals. The Owls will look to earn hardware tomorrow, with finals beginning at 1:30 p.m.
A Grand Ole Time
> Temple raced six boats in the opening day, with all six boats qualifying to the top finals.
> The Owls will be in the hunt for seven total medals tomorrow, as the lightweight eight will race in the finals only event.
Varsity Eight
> Temple's top boat battled rough water conditions in the early time trial, but easily qualified to the semifinals, by placing ninth in 5:51.
