PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple men's crew team competed in a pair of events this weekend, participating in the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta on Saturday, and the Princeton Three-Mile Chase on Sunday.
At the Head of the Schuylkill, the Owls earned three medals, as the lightweight eight and freshman four took silver medals and the freshman eight nabbed bronze.
The novice four boat raced in a field of 24 boats with their time of 15:48.523 earning them a silver, behind only Union College's 15:41.416. In freshman eight racing, the 36-boat field saw the Owls take third (14:05.
