WEST WINDSOR, N.J. -- The Temple men's crew team advanced to the finals of the 2021 IRA National Championships, after fighting through rainy weather on the opening day of the event at Mercer Lake on Friday.
Time Trials, Semis
> Temple's three heavyweight boats all recorded top-16 finishes in the morning time trials, qualifying through to the semifinal round.
> The Owls' heralded varsity eight took 16th out of 30 boats in the opener, recording a time of 5:39.622, despite a new lineup due to injury. The Owls then finished sixth in their semifinal heat in 6:44.
