DALLAS – Temple's four-game win streak came to an end Saturday afternoon at Moody Coliseum as the Owls fought valiantly before falling 69-61 to the Mustangs. Temple falls to 11-7 overall and 4-3 in league play while SMU improves to 15-5 and 7-1 in league play. It was also SMU's 13th straight home win.
Damian Dunn led Temple with 16 points while Jeremiah Williams added 13. Jahlil White grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds.
Marcus Weathers led all scorers with 27 points for SMU.
