PHILADELPHIA – Temple will play Davidson in the first-ever Boardwalk Classic presented by Citi, on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018. The game will be part of a one-day quadruple-header to be held at Historic Boardwalk Hall.
"We are excited to take part in the inaugural Boardwalk Classic presented by Citi," said Temple men's basketball coach Fran Dunphy. "Boardwalk Hall is a great venue and we have had tremendous success there, winning three conference championships over the last decade. We are looking forward to playing against Davidson in the quadruple-header in December."
The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA) of Atlantic City announced the teams for the Boardwalk Classic.
