PHILADELPHIA - Temple men's basketball begins a two-game road swing at Houston on Saturday, Jan. 28 in a late contest at 10 p.m. Eastern (ESPNU / 1210 AM WPHT). The Cougars (14-7, 5-4) are one of two American Athletic Conference teams the Owls (11-10, 2-6) will face just once in the regular season.
Temple is coming off a much-needed win in its most recent game, a 77-66 defeat of Memphis at home on Jan. 25. It was just the second conference victory for the Owls, who have suffered two three-game streaks of league losses.
