COLUMBUS, OHIO –Khalif Wyatt and Ramone Moore were a formidable backcourt duo at Temple University nearly a decade ago. In a first-round win over the Stillwater Stars, the two guards came together once again on the 4th of July.
Wyatt led the way with 27 points on 7-for-10 shooting as Brotherly Love overcame an early 10-point deficit and defeated the Stillwater Stars, 87-71.
"We played together in college," said Wyatt. "We were a good 1-2 punch [then]. [Moore] takes pressure off of me."
Moore had 24 points in the win for Brotherly Love, which shot 92% (22-for-24) from the free-throw line.
