Lacrosse Falls to Powerhouse No. 13 Princeton on the Road

PRINCETON, N.J. - After two games with a potent offense, Temple lacrosse was unable to find much of it in game three against one of the nation's top teams, losing 19-3 at #13 Princeton (1-0) on Saturday afternoon. All-American Olivia Hompe led the Tigers with four goals, while six others scored two goals apiece for Princeton.

"This game was a really important learning experience for us," said Temple head coach Bonnie Rosen, "and we need to use it to get after things for next week. Princeton is a really strong team and they played at a speed we hadn't seen yet in practice or in the teams we've played against, and I think that experience will go long way for us.
