STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - Sophomore epeeist Safa Ibrahim came from behind in the championship bout at the 43rd annual Penn State Garret Open to take the win and lead the Owls on a successful Saturday in State College. Senior Fatima Largaespada was also a top finisher for Temple, tying for third in foil.
The Owls had two other finalists (top eight), also in foil, as senior Demi Antipas took sixth and junior Miranda Litzinger placed seventh. Senior Petra Khan finished ninth to lead the sabre squad.
